Arts on the Avenues 2023: A Month-Long Celebration of Westchester Art in Larchmont

The Larchmont Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the return of Arts on the Avenues, a month-long celebration of Westchester artists and local businesses. This unique event transforms Larchmont's two business districts into a strolling gallery for residents and visitors to enjoy, showcasing the talents of local artists and the charm of our town's businesses.

Event Details:

Mark your calendars for the kick-off event on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 12-7 pm, and join us for various art events throughout the month until April 30, 2023. This family-friendly event is free to attend, rain or shine, offering a diverse range of artistic experiences for all ages.

Event Highlights:

1. Over 25 business and artist pairings: Local businesses will host the works of Westchester artists, creating a unique and engaging experience for visitors as they stroll through Larchmont.

2. Guided Walking Tours: Take a guided tour of the exhibition, learning about the art and artists as you explore our charming business districts.

3. Interactive Art Activities & Workshops: Get hands-on with art through various workshops and activities suitable for all ages and skill levels.

4. Community Art Project: Participate in a collaborative art project, allowing attendees to leave their mark on a piece that will be displayed in Larchmont.

5. Artist & Curator Talks: Hear from the artists and curators themselves, as they discuss their work, inspirations, and artistic process.

6. "The Business of Art" Panel Discussion: Learn about the intersection of art and commerce, featuring insights from successful artists and entrepreneurs.

7. "Meet The Artist" Events: Mingle with the artists, ask questions, and learn more about their creative journey.

8. Month-long Scavenger Hunt: Embark on a fun and engaging scavenger hunt, discovering hidden art gems and local businesses along the way.

9. Closing Reception with Raffle & Silent Auction: Celebrate the end of Arts on the Avenues with a festive reception, including a raffle and silent auction to support the local arts community.

Exhibiting Artwork:

Artists will be submitting works in various media, including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, and sculpture. This diverse range of artistic expression ensures there is something for everyone to enjoy during Arts on the Avenues.
